AGL provides a home for women who are homeless. The home is designed for women who have successfully completed a program such as drugs or alcohol treatment and domestic violence recovery and need a place to continue to thrive. Ultimately, women would exit the home equipped with survival techniques including parenting classes, employment skills, and education enhancement to become sustainable and resilient within their communities. Services are tailored made to meet individual's needs.
There are many women entering in treatment centers in the attempt to transform their lives. However many of the women who complete their programs are homeless and are in need of further intervention.
AGL transitional home provides the women with a place to reside for up to two years and tailored made services to prepare each woman for a re-entrance into society.
The project will facilitate women in remaining sustainable within their communities by providing self-efficient and enhancement techniques that they are capable of implementing once they successfully exit the program.
