Envisioning the future

Dear donor, may you receive a warm greeting. We are more than happy to inform you that we continue tirelessly and enthusiastically working to achieve the goal of improving the Ann & Ted Kheel Polytechnic School in the community of Veron, in order to offer personal and professional development opportunities for their students.

You are definitively the catalysts of our project, your outstanding contribution has made the difference.

We are involved in the developing stages of our project. The details are the following:

  • The equipping and the staffing stages of the administrative offices and the office that will host the Neo-RD Alliance project (mentioned in previous reports) are going well. We hope to finish as soon as possible with the collaboration of our partner Neo-RD Alliance/Educa.
  • On the last June we held the 12th graduation ceremony, in which 64 students were graduated. To date 786 young people belonging to low-income families have graduated (high school plus technical skills). Please see the pictures attached.
  • The first stage of the Voluntary Military Service program concluded successfully(together with the Security Department of Grupo Puntacana and the Ministry of National Defense), this program is going to be continued in the upcoming school year. Please see the picture attached
  • We are taking advantage of the summer vacation to elaborate the calendar of the training activities for the teachers and the co-curricular activities for the students, among others. After an evaluation of our technicians, we are starting the maintenance labors of the facilities ( indoor and outdoor painting, land scape, electrical installations, lighting, bathrooms repairing, among others) and the purchase of some new furniture. Please see the picture attached of some of the new school chairs

In the upcoming months we will keep you updated on the progress of our project.

If you have any comment, advice or question, please let us know and we will respond as best we can.

Thank you very much once again for your support !

 Best wishes !
