The ICT empowerment for Burundi children education is going smooth, the project implementation were so successful.
The project continue to improving the quality of education for Burundi children. For the First time, we trained 120 youths in Basic ICT and Digital entrepreneurship from differences schools and universities.The training were conducted in three weeks in one ofour ICT Lab alreadyimplemented ( Located at Lycée de la CEPBUBurundi).
The students trained in ICT are now able to use ICT in their normal work , some of them are now volunteering to our programmes in some schools to assist teachers who train student and kids in Basic ICT.
Those who have been able to attend the digital entrepreneurship training , we have some who have started their small business and others have been able to secure some Jobs in private and public sector.
For the successfull achievement of our project,Computers For Education program in Burundi’s concept paper has been accepted to be presented during the 33rd International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement as the most innovative school project in the Sub-saharan region. The conference was hosted by the Moroccan Center for Civic Education in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Training, and Scientific Research, and the Regional Council of Marrakech-Safi Region in January 2020.
