This project will make high-quality educational events and programs on international affairs, including talks, conferences, and competitions, more accessible to the 150,000-plus students in Orange County. While the world becomes more interconnected than ever, education on world issues is still lacking in our communities. With this project, younger audience will be exposed to the insights shared by leaders more closely, and learn and share knowledge of world issues among their peers nationwide.
Our need in the community is more important today than ever before. The increasingly interconnected world we live in has been highlighted by the impact of Covid-19. While the importance and need of a global perspective is clear, statistics on global issues being taught in secondary school are disappointingly non-existent.
