This project will provide school fees, books and literacy support for 100 children traumatized by farmer and herder conflict losing parents to insurgency
The area of Bassa local government in 2016 and 2017 has been ravaged by sectarian crisis of farmers, herders and insurgency. Over a 1000 victims have been occupying class rooms and bringing damage to school equipment even after resettlement of residents back to their homes. Most children sit on the floor and have no writing materials especially about 100 those who lost their parents and family to insurgency.
This project will provide 100 orphaned children with reading and writing materials, school fees for a year. This will increase positive impact and their likelihood of completing their education removing the risk of street begging and being used as tools of radicalization
The project will educate 100 children to complete their education
