Not everyone is as privileged as us! For most children in rural India, studying is a luxury. Children in classrooms have to sit on cold floors, bent over their books, trying to read and write. We intend to change this situation by strengthening the rural classroom and quality of education for the students. The project aims to ensure that rural children get the required support.
Despite considerable economic progress in India in the last couple of decades, poverty has continued to pervade rural areas. Children in rural areas have been denied access to proper education with schools lacking basic infrastructure. Lack of school furniture is just one of the many obstacles which students are facing while trying to seek quality education and healthy learning environment.
By providing desks to schools, children will be able to comfortably be seated for long hours in school. This will not only provide school infrastructure, however this will also help to makeover the schools with basic school supplies and facilities for a healthy learning environment like private schools.
Equipping schools with basic facilities will increase the admission to the school and decrease drop outs. Over time this will elevate the educational status and standards of every village which is sure to transform these communities level of empowerment.
