In these days, the Holy Land has been the scene of violent clashes that have led to bombing to and from Gaza. Thousands were wounded and hundreds were killed; among these many children. Pro Terra Sancta Association has been committed to peace building in the Holy Land for years with social projects ogh the Christian community in Gaza and cultural projects in Jerusalem. Only through this never ending effort in education to sharing and dialogue we will be able to build a future of peace.
Years of social and political tensions in the area, unsolved disputes, racial discrimination and the recent crisis due to Covid-19 are some of the main aspects that led to the outbreak of violence in the Holy Land, and in consequent bombing to and from the Gaza Strip. Thousands of civilians were wounded and hundreds were killed; among these many are children. There is a great need of assistance in Gaza, but also there is a great need of peace building long term activities.
Pro Terra Sancta carries out several activities in support of the community in Gaza through the small Cristian community. In particular we grant cures and assistance to children affected by the "Butterfly Children" desease, that cannot receive the necessary cures in Gaza. In other parts of the West Bank and Israel we have several ongoing activities of pece building in the young generations through education to a common history and cultural heritage, to peace and dialogue without discrimination.
The aim of all our cultural and educational activities is to educate the young generations in Israel and in the West Bank to cohexistence and dialogue, in peace and unity.
